Can some one help explain to me how the princess bride is satirical?

I have to do this huge 5 page report about how the princess bride [the book] has satire. Can someone please help me, I'm completely lost!

It's a satire on other fairy tales.

William Goldman has created an author (S. Morgenstein) and he's retelling a story that's never actually been told so that he can put his comments in about the faults and the problems with fairy tales.
