Why is getting a mail order bride considered taboo?

Why are women so offended by the idea of a mail order bride? Why is it assumed that a man who seeks a mail order bride is abusive, disturbed, or controlling? I want to get a mail order bride and I am just a normal guy who's tired of being mistreated and unappreciated by American women. I love and respect women dearly, and I have many female friends. I just do not want to be alone anymore. I want companionship and, if needed, to help a woman and her family. I am a good, caring person.

if you really loved and respected women, you wouldn't try and purchase one as a commodity.

American women are beatches. They want to control all men and they do not know how to please a man. Hopefully they will all become lesbians who do not breed and we can start fresh. In the mean time I found a foreign woman who know what a partnership mean without trying to blurr the lines between what a man is and what a woman is.

It is not really mail order. You will find similar issues with many foreign women but there are many who actually mean what they say so the normal man/woman issues are still there only much more managable and done with honesty (no games or crazy control issues) and the result is having someone you can actually trust and depend on instead of the "Sex in The City" feminazis that divorce twice before lunch. Try a good Catholic country.

bad taboo. i dont think so. i mean we are talking bout something that has been going on for a long time in history. there are pros like the companionship hell son your buying it. but the cons like any time two people meet there are things that just dont fit like all the things she like or all the things you dont like. just work thru them. ps where is she coming from?

Foreign brides as a whole are less materialistic and very family oriented.American women have an attitude that's it all about them and the universe revolves around them.If your attentive, love and treat them with respect you'll have a long and happy marriage.

Because you are "choosing" a woman, based on a few characteristics displayed on a website. Most of those women don't want to marry you, they just want a ticket out of their country.

A mail order bride is not looking for love or companionship. She is looking for a green card and a sugar daddy. I know of two people who are from another country (one a man, the other one a woman) who married an American only because they wanted to live in America. The woman told me that she is not in love with her husband, doesn't want to be married to him and she can hardly wait until they have been married for 3 years so she can divorce him and continue staying in this country. This is the only reason why she married him, so she could live in America.

The man also married his wife so he could live in America. Two and a half years after they got married, he left her, but tells her he doesn't know what he wants to do, he needs his space and time to think about their marriage and if they can work things out or not. The truth is, he's just buying himself another six months, until they have been married for 3 years, so he can then divorce her, but stay in this country.

It doesn't matter if you marry a woman from this country you have dated for a couple of years before you get married or you marry a mail order bride (a total stranger). You will never get what you want and need in a marriage, unless she wants the same things you want.

How do you figure you will get the love and companionship you desire from a woman you don't know, doesn't love you, and who wants to marry an American to get a green card?

Don't you think you deserve to have a woman who married you because she loves you and wants to spend the rest of her life with you, instead of just 3 years?
