A miniature bride is this weird thing that has become common lately. It mostly seems like an ego trip to me - it's a little girl who looks like the bride, who gets dressed like, you guessed it, a miniature bride. I don't think they perform any function except to look cute.
Kind of bizarre to me, but some people like it.
