Filipino Bride For You?

Some western men seek a Filipino woman to be their Filipino bride. The Filipino woman indeed has several endearing qualities that make her a very ideal bride. Some of the qualities of a Filipino woman are: stunning beauty, exotic sweetness, cheerful disposition in life, friendly personality, faithful in their love, everlasting loyalty to their husbands, prim and proper ways, highly respectful of elders, practice close family ties and are warm and caring in their ways.

If you are eager and determined to find your Filipino bride, you should be ready for anything that goes along with your search.

First, you must possess all the resources necessary to travel to the Philippines. Of course, you must have the financial capacity to travel halfway around the world to search for your Filipino bride.

Second, you should be willing to post your picture and profile on the internet. After all, the internet is the most accessible venue you can search for your future Filipino bride.

Third, sign up in online dating sites that focus on Filipino personals or Filipina dating, and you should be willing to pay for memberships. You have better chances of getting a good selection of Filipino women to contact and interact with, if you will become a paid member in Filipino dating sites. There are also free online Filipino dating sites you can find. Just be sure to register your online dating profile and start your search!

Fourth, beware of scams. It is still smarter to be really careful. There are professional daters who will only want your money and have no intention of marrying you at all. Also, make sure that the Filipina girl you are interested in is really single as she claims to be.

Fifth, it is a good idea to make friends with someone in your local area who has a Filipina wife. She will have several Filipina friends back in the Philippines who will be willing to meet you if you decide to travel there.

Sixth, be aware that your culture is different from your Filipino bride's culture, so you should be open minded. Filipino women have a more traditional view of marriage than western women. But like many other women, sometimes a Filipino woman could change her personality. It means that even if she's from the Philippines, it doesn't mean that she will remain sweet, and submissive. It really depends on the character of each person. In other words, you must treat your Filipino bride just the same as you would treat a western bride. But, Filipino women are raised in the more old fashioned ways, and are taught to be faithful to their husbands. So, to most Filipino women, marriage is a very important decision and a lifetime commitment.

It is really important that in finding and choosing your Filipino bride, there is love and trust present between the two of you. Oftentimes, a Filipino woman will only marry the man they truly love. But, be sure that you are in love with your Filipino woman and that she loves you in return before committing to marriage.

Many western men who marry a Filipino bride swear that they make the best wives in the world. A Filipina wife is not only beautiful, but is also loyal, loving and faithful forever. If you have not found your Filipino bride yet, consider joining Filipino dating sites and hopefully, you will find your Filipino woman to be your Filipino bride.

Bridal Shower Invitations - Let's Shower the Bride With Love

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The bridal shower is a time of fun, fellowship, and friends forever. In a bridal shower, the bride's closest friends and allies assemble together at the bride's house for a party to celebrate the bride. The friends, relatives, and colleagues 'shower' the bride with gifts. Originally, bridal showers were intended to replace the gifts lost through a dowry that didn't go through because the father of the bride didn't approve of the marriage. Because of this, bridal showers are a recent phenomenon. They're endemic to America and Canada especially so you'll be sure to find the best bridal shower invitations from Internet vendors in one of those two countries.

Bridal shower invitations are fun to send out because you're 100% certain that you will receive some great gifts in return from all your friends. Friends are likely to bring gifts that will help you establish your new home. In the past, bridal showers were also intended to establish the woman's role as homemaker and traditional housewife. This has gradually been replaced with a pure gift-giving session; sometimes, the husband is even involved in this celebration that was originally reserved just for females.

Usually, the maid of honor plans the bridal shower and sends out the invitation so she should keep some basic tenets in mind. First, the bride-to-be is a princess for a day. Second, send out invitations 2 weeks ahead of time to give everyone time to prepare. Third, don't invite guests to the shower if they're not invited to the wedding, for obvious reasons. Fourth, plan to have the shower in the afternoon. Fifth, use board games and other games to help the guests get to know each other. Sixth, don't pressure the guests into giving expensive gifts if they can't afford them. Cheap gifts can be just as good and functional. Include a list of inexpensive items on the registry for cash-strapped bridal shower guests. Seventh, choose a few good movies that all the girls will love to watch. These are especially fun at the end of the night after a few bottles of wine or champagne.

The bridal shower invitations shouldn't be too fancy or else the guests will think they have to dress up and bring expensive gifts and such. Make sure that the invitations are fun, yet classy. Don't use overpriced cards because it will send the wrong impression right off the bat. Make the bride's bridal shower a time of shared memories and future hopes. Don't let anything blur that beautiful dream.

Fresh Ideas For the Mother of the Bride

Image : http://www.flickr.com

There was a time when being the mother of the bride meant that you would be forced to wear a frumpy pale blue dress with a big corsage that made you look like the Queen Mum. No matter how stylish she was in real life, the fashions designed for the bride's mom made her look and feel more like the grandmother of the bride. Happily, these days there are fresh and appealing ways that the bride's mother can look appropriate while feeling fabulous.

One of the biggest changes has been in what clothing is deemed suitable for the mother of the bride. Forget the polyester chiffon nightmare that your mom had to wear; today's styles are chic and up-to-date. A great trend for mothers of the bride is that some of the better designers of bridesmaid dresses have turned their hands to creating equally stylish options for the other members of the bridal party.

Strapless dresses are one new idea for the mother of the bride. This will of course depend on your comfort level with revealing your arms, but many moms these days are as fitness-oriented as their daughters, with the toned arms to prove it! If you have triceps like Michelle Obama, then by all means, go ahead and show them off with a sleeveless or strapless dress for your daughter's wedding. If propriety is an issue for a religious ceremony, it is simple enough to add a shrug, shawl, or bolero to wear for the service.

Another new trend for the bride's mother is to wear accessories that are almost as stunning as what the bride herself has chosen. Of course you would not dream of wearing a tiara to your daughter's wedding, but a sparkling brooch makes a wonderful accent for an updo or to sweep the hair back from your face. Mothers of the bride are also wearing really fabulous wedding jewelry these days. You do not have to limit yourself to a demure strand of pearls . If you have always loved pearl jewelry, treat yourself to a dramatic strand of black or peacock pearls to wear for the wedding. You can also turn to fabulous sparkling Swarovksi crystal jewelry in rich and sophisticated colors like amber or amethyst.

Traditionally the mother of the bride wore a floral corsage pinned to her dress. There is nothing wrong with this, but you also have other options to consider. One of the freshest ideas is for the mothers of the bride and groom to forgo the corsage and carry a small posey of flowers down the aisle instead. With the rising popularity of strapless dresses for the mother of the bride, wrist corsages have also seen a comeback. If your preference is to keep the mom's flowers on her dress, a very pretty and modern look is to pin the corsage to a sash or belt around the waist of her dress.

Just as bridesmaids no longer have to wear hoop skirts, poufy sleeves, and pastel hats, the mothers of the bride and groom will find that their time to look stylish has come as well. The current trends in mother of the bride attire give each woman the chance to express her personal style. Not only will you look beautiful for your daughter's wedding, you will actually be able to wear a dress that reflects your own unique taste (with the bride's approval, naturally!).

Mail Order Bride Success Rates

Image : http://www.flickr.com

In recent years, thousands of young women have come to the USA by way of marriage to western men. There are a number of online dating services featuring young, beautiful women in search of Western counterparts.

On the basis of the information provided by mail order bride agencies, it is estimated that between 100,000 and 150,000 women from different countries annually register themselves. Out of these 4 percent of the women seeking U.S. husbands have found them.

The Philippines provides a large number of the Asian listings, in spite the fact that the mail-order bride system there has been illegal since 1986. In recent years, there has been an increase in listings due to the entry of agencies focusing on women of Russia and the former Soviet Union. In addition to Russian women, a lot of Ukrainian women are also featured. Some agencies report serving over 1,000 men every month that pay as much as $200 each.

A survey of a few agencies showed that they had 607 American men seeking mail-order brides and had received 206 responses. It is found that a large number of these men are generally white, highly educated, politically and conservative, and economically and professionally successful.

In one of the surveys, emails were sent to 102 mail order bride services to find out what percentage of their female clients married men from the U.S. Among these estimates, those listing predominately women from Russia and the former Soviet Union countries gave the highest figures of10 percent to 40 percent. Most of these estimates were for marriages to men from any country and not specifically the United States. There are a few mail order bride agencies that feature over 450 Russian women in their current listings. Each of them claims to have arranged, on average, 100 marriages (to date) between Russian women and American men.

According to a report, mail-order brides constitute 10 percent of the marriages between Filipinos and foreigners. Out of the women, around 10 percent have been successful in finding and marrying a man through the service. There are approximately 10,000 marriages every year between women listed by these agencies and men who use the services.

"Bride Wars" - The Friendship!

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The movie Bride Wars is a predictable but fun movie about two lifelong friends who get engaged at the same time. As their wedding plans progress, their friendship starts to fall apart. It is a great movie to remind brides about what is really important in life.

In the Bride Wars, we meet two women living in New York who have been friends since they were girls growing up together in New Jersey. Liv, played by Kate Hudson, is a Type A go-getter, with a successful law career. Her best friend Emma (Anne Hathaway) is a mild mannered beauty who teaches middle school. The girls are such close friends that their relationship means at least as much, if not more, than the ones they have with their boyfriends.

The defining moment of Liv and Emma's friendship is when their mothers took them to tea at the Plaza Hotel when they were young girls. They witnessed a wedding taking place, and right then and there they both decided that the only wedding worth having is a June wedding at the Plaza. The radiant bride dropped a piece of her hair bridal jewelry - a blue flower hairpin- and it became a treasured momento for both Emma and Liv.

Fast forward two decades, and both women are living in New York with their serious boyfriends. Their friendship is as strong as ever, and when Liv discovers that she is about to become engaged (she find the little blue box!), Emma could not be more thrilled to be her maid of honor for what they both expect will be the most perfect wedding ever. However, before Liv's boyfriend can actually pop the question, Emma's boyfriend proposes to her. This sets off instant jealousy in Liv, and you can see the beginning of the competitive spark that will nearly destroy their friendship.

Once Liv gets her ring, both ladies trot off to the most fabulous wedding planner in New York, who tells them that there are two dates available for June weddings at the Plaza - perfect! However, trouble ensues when the planner's assistant accidentally books both weddings on the same date. Suddenly the two best friends in the world become bitter rivals, as neither one is willing to change her wedding to another date or venue and abandon the dream of the June wedding at the Plaza.

Much ugliness ensues as the two enraged brides attempt to sabotage each other's big day. The tricks run from a spray tan disaster to blue highlights the week before the wedding. There is also a wild bachelorette party showdown, not to mention a dirty trick to make sure that Liv will gain too much weight to fit into her Vera Wang gown. The two girls are forced to find other people to be their maids of honor, and also manage to frighten their fiances with their catty behavior.

Along the way, each bride learns something important about herself. Liv discovers that she does not have to try to be perfect at all times, and that it is okay to be human. Emma realizes that being a people-pleaser means that she pleases everyone but herself. As she develops a backbone, Emma also comes to realize (spoiler alert!) that her fiance is not the right man for her.

In the end, what both characters come to realize is that they are incomplete without the other. At the end of the movie, Emma presents Liv with the little blue piece of bridal hair jewelry that had started their wedding obsession, and she walks her best friend down the aisle. It is a very sweet moment, and both girls see that life's most special moments are meaningless if they are not shared with the ones that you love.

Best Mother of the Bride Gifts

Image : http://www.flickr.com

When you are getting married you want your mother to feel like her help was appreciated throughout the whole ordeal. That's why the mother of the bride gift is becoming so important these days. It's your own special way to say "thank you".

Some of us have no problem thinking up a gift that our mother would love. Others need a little more help, especially if you have one of those mothers that already seems to have everything. There are so many things out there nowadays that say, "I love you" and "thanks for all your help", that it gets increasingly hard to choose. Here are some great ideas that every mother is sure to love.

Personalized picture frames are a great way to say thanks. There are even shops that specialize in engraving in all kinds of materials like glass, crystal and ceramic.

You can make them say just about anything. Why no get a double picture frame and put a picture of you playing wedding when you were five and a photo of you at the wedding as comparison? This is a great way to have your mother remember you no matter how old you get or where life may take you, especially if you are planning on moving far away.

Perhaps a mother's blanket is a perfect mother of the bride gift. These are embroidered throw blankets that have either a saying for the mother or flowers that she is sure to love. They come in different colors and have unique design or saying stitched right into it. If you want to make them even more personal, you can have a design of your own put onto the blanket, like the family tree. Be sure to include the new husband too!

If your mother is one of those people that is lighthearted and doesn't do well with gifts, perhaps a joke gift is more suitable. A mother of the bride survival bag may be perfect for her. It includes everything that she may need at the last minute like a brush, lint roller, mirror, pen, credit card holder - just in case you decide to make a dash for it at the last minute - bobby pins and safety pins.

Don't worry, there is something that will suit even the pickiest of mothers. No matter what you choose as a gift for your mother, just make her feel it was given with love.

Asian Mail Order Brides

Image : http://www.flickr.com

A mail order bride is a woman who signs herself up with a marriage agency who offers her as a spouse to a male foreigner looking for a bride. Many foreigners tend to prefer Asians as wives, and because of the economic status of many Asian countries, there seems to be a constant number of Asian females willing to offer themselves up as mail order brides.

Attractions

Foreigners tend to prefer Asian women because of the generally attractive physique that they possess. Asian mail order brides tend to be very feminine, petite and slender and always display grace. Asians seem to have a natural knack for charm as well as an innate ability to be attentive to their partners. With these characteristics, the physical and emotional needs of the foreign groom are met.

Asian women are generally brought up to be gentle and polite, knowing how to conduct themselves properly with proper manners. They know how to respond to others politely and with great respect. They have the ability to easily adapt to new cultures and, since they are naturally friendly and hospitable, they are able to quickly gain new friends and adjust to their new environment.

Asian countries regard marriage highly and value the institution of family with utmost commitment. If the groom is seriously considering settling down with a mail order bride, then an Asian bride would fit the profile well.

Mutual Attraction

For the marriage to work there needs to be a mutual attraction. Asian women openly agree to such arrangements because of their preconceived understanding of Western men. Many Asian women are treated as secondary citizens. But Western men tend to have a chivalric upbringing, treating females with great respect and as equals.

Since many Asian countries have a lower-performing economy compared to their Western counterparts, many Asian women seek the stability that comes with the marriage.

Mother of the Bride Dresses - Top 5 Trends

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Gone are the stodgy old ideas about how a Mother of the Bride should dress.  Here are the top trends in Mother of the Bride Dresses that give us hope!

1) Bright Colors

It used to be that Mother of the Bride dresses only came in four colors: blah, boring, beige, and blech.  Pastels and navy blue are only part of the selection nowadays! Finally, the industry is starting to show a spectrum of different colors, from spring greens to royal purples.  Whether you love bold jewel tones or lean towards rich earth tones, there will be something out there for you.  Since more saturated colors are better for aging, pale skin tones, liven up your look by choosing a color with some pizzazz!

2) Bolero Jackets

You may be sick of those boring Mother of the Bride jacket dresses, but the good news is there's finally a fresh new take on them! Designers have addressed the need for a removable jacket to cover the arms that is also very fashionable.  The bolero jacket, with different sleeve lengths, is in. It's elegant and practical. Take it off when you're hot, and you will still have a great dress underneath. Wear it to cover up during the ceremony - no one will guess you're trying to cover those wobbly chicken wings under your arms!

3) Tiered Dresses and Skirts

Tiered skirts are showing up in stores this season and are especially appropriate for formal wear for the over-40 set.  They're modern and feminine and can be very flattering if they are not too frilly. Try one before you buy, and make sure it suits your body. With all that extra material, this Mother of the Bride style is not for everyone!

4) New  Lengths

Say goodbye to floor length when it come to Mother of the Bride Dresses. Plenty of different hemlines are popping up, mainly due to the huge variety of different wedding styles and venues these days.  We're seeing plenty of cocktail-length, knee-length, and handkerchief hems, as well as hi-lo dress lengths.  (High in the front, long in the back).  At the knee, or slightly above the knee is as high as you want to go. Remember: All these new hemlines give you one more reason to wear some fabulous, head-turning  shoes!

5) "Green" Fabrics  (no, we don't mean color!)

Environmentally responsible weddings are all the rage.  Couples are using recycled materials for invitations and donating to charity instead of offering plastic, landfill bound favors to their guests. The "green" theme even reaches all the way down to wedding attire.  You may have to explore specialty stores, but organic cotton and silk dresses are growing in popularity.  The best part about them is because the dresses are made with natural fibers, they are more comfortable and breathable.  When you're outside at an August wedding, you'll appreciate why this is so necessary!

Choosing a Mother of the Bride Dress For 2009

Image : http://www.flickr.com

This year turning Mom into the Mother of the Bride comes with one important prerequisite. Talk to the bride. She'll appreciate you listening to her input for years to come. Don't be afraid of this exercise - there are plenty of color and style options to accommodate not only your look but her preferences as well this year. You might even be pleasantly surprised with what you discover and relieved to have a place to start. But don't start shopping yet. Next consider the key attributes of color, length, style and body, which when combined successfully will ensure you and your dress are a spectacular hit on the bride's big day.

Color

The two aspects of color that you want to reconcile are simply 1) the color theme of the wedding and 2) the colors that looks good on you. En vogue dress colors especially for Mother of the Brides this year (and especially for outdoor weddings) include "apricot, peach, lemon and golden olive hues" reports Hanna of Here Comes the Guide. If the wedding is taking place later in the year, get more vivid with amethyst, mahogany, or rose. If none of these colors will do, then take your queue from the bride, who may elect to step into 2009's trend for lots of bold, saturated colors like green, lavender or blue, but especially blue, with all of its brilliant peacock splendor including deep violet blue, clear bright blue, green blue, cobalt blue, turquoise, and palace blue. If the bride's theme is blue, but blue doesn't work on you, trying choosing from among the many delightful accent colors you will see in a wedding regardless of its color theme, like champagne, cream, bone, taupe, tan, silver, shimmering light gold, or beige

Selecting colors around a wedding's theme is only the first step. Ask also what colors look good on you. If you are unsure, it's best to keep two or three neutral colors in mind while you decide what looks best against your natural coloring. As you shop, hold clothing items of differing colors up to your face and judge for yourself. You can even go so far as to invest in a professional style guide, like the ones available at istylista. When you look back on wedding photos years from now, you will not regret the investment!

In all cases, stay away from white, ivory, and black. And interestingly, even though blue is "in" this year, one of its shades definitely is not - navy. Don't be caught wearing it! Just remember to pick a color that coordinates well with the wedding theme or its bridal attendants - you don't have to match exactly! - and one which looks great on you at the same time.

Length

The Mother of the Bride's dress length should be similar to the bridesmaids' dresses, within Mom's comfort zone. Tea length (a gown hemmed to end at the shin) becomes an acceptable compromise when bridesmaids' dresses measure LA knee length or shorter.

Style

Continuing the trend from last year, stores are stocking Mother of the Bride dresses in youthful styles. No more stodgy lines and drab tones. This is Mom's year for satisfying a little chicly red carpet fantasy of her own! Take your queue from designing leaders like Karen Miller, Scala, Ursula and Cachet. Also look to bride styles for inspiration, who will be more angelic this year in soft fabrics like chiffons and drapings. But don't go overboard. You'll be safe in simple, graceful lines with little frill and appropriate accessories which compliment, rather than compete with, the bride's wedding dress. A perennial favorite for Mom, especially petite moms, is the two piece skirt suit. These separates are popular because each piece can be ordered in different sizes for a more tailored fit.

Your Body

Be comfortable in your own skin, and in your dress. This means understanding your body shape, your natural colors, owning your age, and putting a dash of your personality into your ensemble. iStylista has an excellent blog article on this topic which you don't want to miss.

To customize the boxes, the bride may opt to have the bridesmaids' names or initials be engraved on the gift items. The bridesmaids can safely keep the jewelry they wore during the wedding day in these wonderful customized jewelry boxes that the bride has given them.

Engraved Picture Frames

Pictures can tell a story that more than words can say. The bride may consider engraved picture frames as bridesmaids gifts for her attendants. Those frames are available in almost all kinds of sizes, colors, and shapers. Also, they can be made of wood, silver-plated, crystal, or glass. Slave Earrings - A Look at a Modern Phenomena

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Consisting of a stud at the ear lobe and a chain which extends to the top of the ear via a cuff or second piercing, Slave earrings are also referred to as multiple-piercing earrings. Designed to carry the look to the other ear while not distracting from it, the second earring in the pair will most always include a plain stub.

Chaining 2 items together was where the notion originated for the term "slave earring". The jewelry by the name of slave anklets and slave bracelets have an attachment similar to the slave earrings where the lobe and ear cartilage are chained together.

"Bajoran earrings" were a nickname attached to a design which appeared on Star Trek and thereby boosted the popularity of the traditional earring that initially became popular during the high point of the punk movement. More heavily layered than those earrings found in the western styles, many traditional Indian brides commonly used slave earrings. Sometimes not directly affixed to the ear, the upper ear piece is many times hung in the space between the head and the ear, although the chain will sometimes extend from the ear to the nose.

As time has gone on, the slave earrings have become more sophisticated, but they continue to rely on chains and studded stones and thus retain some of their punk footings in these modern renditions. The ability to appear extremely feminine when properly attached allows these earrings to worn by anyone. Smaller appearance and fine chains are teamed up with fine gemstones and metals on some of modern styles.

You should initially attach your plainer earrings and then install the earring. Do not cause a tangled chain when you are attaching the lower stud of the slave earrings. You need to carefully pull the second stud up towards the top of your ear cartilage after you pickup the cuff. Pin the stud and hook on the cuff of the earring. Carefully mash the cuff until it is tighter or tighten up the earring stud if it feels a little loose.

You should choose the earring to be the basis for your outfit to create an edgy but feminine appearance. In order to not over crowd the slave earring grouping, do not add any jewelry above the bangles or rings which you might add to increase your jewelry.

You can wear this jewelry with attractive girlie dresses or you can make it an accessory to jeans and a t-shirt. Avoid motorcycle biker bars after you have created this edgy look of putting a bit of hard rock in our styles. Your everyday style can justify some changes to spice things up, but generally, slave earrings can be another alternative to your other fashions.

Wedding Hairstyles - A New Bride To-Be Would Plan

Image : http://www.flickr.com

One of the things that a bride should worry least about on her wedding day is her hairstyle. Nonetheless this is rarely ever the case. A new bride-to-be would plan from months before what she would look like on her wedding day, and apart from her gown, the hairstyle is the next biggest part of her finished look that would make all the difference.

The first thing a bride-to-be should consider when trying to decide on a wedding hairstyle is whether or not she would be wearing a veil or a tiara. This would make all the difference with regards to the type of hairstyle that she should choose. Secondly to consider about the bride's hairstyle is her hair length - you cannot very well decide you want the curls and all when you have short straight hair! Finally the bride should consider if she wants her hair up or down, and which would be compliment her features on her wedding day.

First of all, the wedding veil is an important part of the wedding gown. While some would choose not to opt for one, many brides are more conventional and would want the wedding veil and the whole nine yards at the wedding event. If you opt to go with the wedding veil on your wedding day, then you have to decide on the hairstyle that best compliments that veil. If you wish to have your hair open and loose on your wedding day, then make sure that the veil is longer than your hair length. Also, lighter veils are best for the hair being left open - a heavy veil would tend to pull the hair downwards and thus undo the body that you may have added to your loose hair - whether it is the elegant curls or the simple waves. For the bride who wishes to keep her hair up for her wedding, she must decide if the wedding veil should sit at the top of her hairstyle, or if the hairstyle should sit at the top of the veil. The latter would be the case for the really intricate hairstyle that the bride may wish to show off.

Secondly, the length of the bride's hair is a very critical issue to consider when planning the hairstyle for that big day. While hair extensions are a possibility, most brides would prefer to be as natural as possible on one of the biggest and most amazing days of their lives. For the short hair, the bride could consider pinups with soft accents framing the face. A bride-to-be with short hair also has the option of growing her hair naturally months before her wedding if she desires a style that requires longer hair.

Finally, the bride either has the option of letting her hair loose for the wedding ceremony, or choosing an elaborate updo. The hair styled up is one of the more popular choices, and has been a classic hairstyle for all formal occasions from generations gone to generations now.

A Relaxed Bride is a Happy Bride - How to Unwind With a Spa-Themed Bridal Shower

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Let's face it, every bride-to-be needs some pampering! Planning a wedding can be stressful, with all of the coordinating, last minute changes, and a myriad of people to try to please. Typically most of this stress falls on the bride, who ends up walking down the aisle exhausted and frazzled. When planning this special woman's bridal shower, keep this in mind and consider using a bath or spa theme for the shower to give her a chance to step out of the whirlwind she's caught up in.

This theme can take a few different forms depending on the number of shower guests and the bride's preferences. For a very small group, a day at the spa could make for a very fun outing! Instead of bringing gifts, each guest chips in to help pay for the bride's spa treatments that day. Everyone can enjoy a day at the spa and the bride can relax and enjoy the worry-free attention she's getting. This type of shower works well when the guests consist of immediate family or very close friends. If you want you can make a day of it and plan a night out on the town as well!

While this plan requires a bit of set up to book everyone's appointments, you could forego the day at the spa and still promote the bride's relaxation. You can do this by adding a note on each shower invitation requesting that a small part of the gift include a bath product for the bride. You could even provide examples, such as nail files, bubble bath, massage oil, facial masks, a luxurious hand towel, foot soak, and the list goes on. This way, the bride still gets items that she needs for her home, and she gets a few treats as well, to encourage her to take some time for herself in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding.

A great way to thank your guests for attending and celebrating with the bride is to give them small bath bridal shower favors. Many options are available for a range of budgets, including foam toe separators, decorative soaps and fun nail files. Candles are also a wonderful option as well.

A bath-themed bridal shower can be a wonderful way to add some relaxation to everyone's day. Every woman likes to be pampered, and getting the bride-to-be to relax for a day can be one of the best gifts she can receive. Make the day fun and worry-free, and remember to enjoy yourself as well!
