In the past a bride would not have delivered a speech during the wedding but in recent times a bride wedding speech has become much more common. If you are nervous about speaking in front of an audience or do not know what to say then these tips should help you get started.

Show appreciation for attendees. This is a good place to start as you can thank everyone for coming and your sincerity should come across to the audience. You can keep this general or thank some of the individuals such as bridesmaids and best man if you choose.

Thank your parents. Often the parents have been instrumental in the wedding so make sure you show appreciation to them in your speech. Let them know how important they are to you and how your family has helped you get to this stage.

Address the grooms parents. This can be addresses to your husbands parents or the family as a whole. Let them know you are glad to be joining their family and show sincerity in this.

Show your love for your husband. You can talk about how you first met or the moment you first realized you were in love and possibly include a funny story from your relationship

Keep it relatively short. Nobody likes along and drawn out speech so time yourself beforehand and make sure you are not filling it out with fluff.

An enjoyable bride wedding speech should be emotional but also funny in places. Try to include everyone so that the whole room feels part of the ceremony and make sure you prepare in advance so that nerves do not get the better of you on the day.
