I second what others have said with the accessories, but I also recommend getting some sort of jacket to put over it, like a short denim one. You could also wear a thin multicolored scarf. As for shoes, I'd suggest either wedge heels or stylish tennis shoes.
You could just as easily do both; I also liked the belt idea. But thanks for the best answer! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=1006040518949&kid=NbUvWzK0WTOz0rjM2.Rz&s=comm&date=2006-04-07+15%3A20%3A57&.crumb=

and don't wear it to a wedding either.
Some espadrilles would be fantastic for a casual look.
To keep from looking like a bride, add some colorful accessories, like a hat, a necklace, or a belt.
Some casual sandals and colorful accessories will make you look chic instead of prissy.
use diffrent colors, that are light and cute. like jewerly can be a diffrent colors. and you can have come other colors on your dress. good luck!
Wear some colorful, not-too-dressy shoes, like maybe some wedge sandals, or a fun kitten heel. You could do a white shoe, too, just not a white strappy stiletto sandal; those look like bride shoes to me. Wear your hair in a ponytail, or a cute, colorful headband--red, maybe? Maybe a cute charm bracelet? I like the bow belt idea, too.
Try adding a brown belt or bow around the waist, and dressing it down with some flat shoes. If you're worried about looking too dressed up in it, keep everything else simple (make-up, accessories, etc) don't over do any of. Make the dress the main part of the outfit, but casualise (if thats even a word) it by keeping everything else as simple as possible
add another color to it pink blue gold or sliver. idk dress it up wear like pink shoes a pink purse and maybe like a pink scarf
